 Seasoned Executive Chef & B, Johnathan Rodriguez, intends to bring a track record of success to his new residency at a duplex property, the ALOFT by Marriott, WESTIN ELEMENT, & Sal Y Mar rooftop restaurant in Midtown Tampa, FL.

His culinary expertise spans Italian, Spanish, French, Mediterranean, and American cuisines. For his performance and execution in the kitchen, he has received numerous honors. Awards such as the Taste of Clearwater and the Chef Inspired Award, Number One for Excellency, and most recently Highest GOP for White Lodging.  No stranger to high-profile chefs and high-intensity kitchens, Chef Johnathan has worked and trained at two Michelin grade restaurants which makes his attention to detail exquisite. As cooking for numerous high name celebrities though out his career, a prior successful Executive Chef for Sea Salt in St. Pete, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Trump National Golf Club in New York, As well as a property sous chef for Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater, & a chef in training at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin resort executing a 5-restaurant operation. Chef Johnathan can be classified as a well-rounded chef in cuisines. Chef Johnathan now focuses on his next endeavor, with goals and awards already targeted for the years to come, and train and keep building his knowledge in the Food & Beverage world. Making him be a true professional in his craft that everyone grows to love.
